Scribe Scroll issue
My wizard is unable to scribe scroll to learn new spells. Not sure if this is intend or not. I put the feat in a hotkey and click it on the scroll I wished to learn. It was Mord scroll. No option to scribe it, nor when I click on the scroll is there an option to scribe it. How is it done now?

Can't edit item descriptions either now. I think some of the fixes had some unexpected bugs. I am sure they will sort them out in the coming days.

There was an update today. Probably the reason we all have wildshape too.

Re: Scribe Scroll issue
Scribe scroll changed a while back. Use the feat on the scroll, then cast the scroll as a spell. If you pass the spellcraft checks you will successfully scribe the spell into your spell book.
Btw, I hope they removed the DC 20 Read Magic spellcraft check and simply left the DC 15+ Spell level check for scribing. It was unfair on low level wizards because there's no Read Magic cantrip to bypass the DC 20 check, meaning you need to make sure you have +19 spellcraft before you guarantee successful spell scribing.

I can change item descriptions alright on the server, the old app changer doesn't seem to want to transfer descriptions for now though.

Re: Scribe Scroll issue
To add a spell to your spellbook:
You just double click/use the scroll as if you were trying to actually use it in combat, and it will be added to your spellbook (assuming you clicked Study Spell first of course).
That's all there is to it.1. Look on your character sheet and find a feat called "Study Spell."
2. Put this feat on your hotbar.
3. Click the feat.
4. Cast the Mords (or whatever) scroll on the ground or something after clicking the feat.
5. Profit

Note that some spells require a finite target rather than empty space (eg. Bigby spells) and you can just target another scroll in your inventory and the spell will cast properly.

Re: Scribe Scroll issue
You can also cast it on the same scroll in case it is the only one in your inventory. However unlikely it is.

So to learn bigby or target spells I would need to target let's say the old fogagie Myhun Kren for example. After using study spell feat not scribe scroll.

Re: Scribe Scroll issue
You start with study spell as explained above.
You cast the spell on the same scroll or another one or an equipped item as explained above.
You hope you pass your two rolls to learn the spell and if you do, voilà, a new spell in your spellbook.

Re: Scribe Scroll issue
Hm, it actually doesn't say. But I think I remember concentration and spellcraft? Not sure though.
The higher the level of the spell though the harder the dc.
I had trouble scribing scrolls at very low levels of course, but once at a certain level like 6 or 7 the studying would be almost every time automatic.
