And I am still having trouble casting Contingent Summoning... When it does work, I get the selection screen but no elemental... I'll wait another 20 minutes to see what happens next.


But the feat really isn't working reliably.

I'm having issues too. The first Contingent Summon I tried after logging in without resting worked fine**, and I was able to choose from my Summon IX list. I then cast Summon Creature IX to see if my Augment Summon feat was applying... it was not.

After resting, I tried to use Contingent Summoning again(** - to check if Augment was working, since I didn't check after the first Contingent test) and absolutely nothing happened. I'll also try again after the rest timer.

After 2nd rest, Contingent summoning worked again. Augment Summon, however, is still not applying(at least, my summons STR and CON are not showing a blue bonus). Is this a known bug?

They will not show blue. The summon's base STR and CON are increased, not enhanced like with a spell. This also means that you can both have the augment and buff it with bulls.

I'm not sure why the Contingent failed the second time, but I'm thinking it might be because I tried to cast it less than a second after resting. The successful cast worked fine when I waited for a few seconds after a rest.

I find that you want to wait a few seconds before casting spells after resting. Some of my characters have also had spell failure applying after a rest for a few seconds, which I think is due to some feats or something that activate.
