Could a dm to change my name to make it legal?

Hello. I didn't realize my character "3-Skull Kruew" had an illegal name. Is there a way to change it to "Three-Skull Kruew"? Sorry about not seeing it in the server rules. Thanks.

Yes actually, this is a relatively easy thing that can be done within 30 seconds by a DM.

Depending on your level, you can get a free rebuild (100% xp refund) up to level 10 and fix it yourself if this is a plausible option. After level 10 its a 5% xp penalty per level to a max of -50% at level 20+, so best to do by level 10. Don't forget to pass your gold/items off to a friend to hold while you do so or they all get nuked!

The rebuild sounds scary. I really like that little three-skulled bastard. How do I contact a dm to do it? I thought somebody might do it after reading this topic.

You can send a tell to the DM channel in game, to see if a DM is available. But they might also find you quite quickly, if they see your name.

Should they find you before you find them, just ask for a name change

To use the DM channel in game, just prepend your text with /d

Nothing, though my guess is that numbers in a name should be spelled out the actual server rules make no mention of this:

– Naming Rules
– Please do not use famous names (like "Robin Hood" or "Drizzt Do'Urden") for your character. Do not put any titles in your name or biography that you did not earn. You are not a king, noble, general, baron, etc. unless the DMs grant your PC that title. And finally, please use a name rather than a description (no "Big Man" or "Larry the Wizard") for your character. This will always be decided at DM discretion and a character in violation of this rule may log in to find the character with a new name.

Aw and i was going to make a toon called Tim the Enchanter and stand on the wyrms crossing bridge and ask people impossibly difficult questions.
