I once closed the gui for writing in a book on one character. Now every new writeable book does appear without a gui.
Is there a command to open it?

In your combat log, it mentions right clicking on the book to bring up the menu I think?
Or double click? I don't remember off the top of my head.

Yep that did it. So simple if you know it
. Though it didn't say anything in the battle window but "Read the help in the book edit GUI for the steps needed to get text into the pages of the book". Hard to do if the Gui isn't open.
Thanks!
