I am still around and reading stuff but I have stopped playing Maxwell. I was really discouraged by the the lack of main character dwarves. A guild cannot survive without main characters. They are the cast which the story is centered on. While it is great to see so many posting here the simple fact is that Stone bar and I were the only two to post in the Kraak Helzak subforum for a stretch of about a year. I lack the initiative to pester DM's for attention so perhaps this was partially my fault.
My advice is to pm anyone removed. Band together and get Kraak Helzak moved closer to the center of the RP (the nearer the FAI the better if you want the guild to thrive). Make your dwarves your main characters not some barbarian mule you hop on to join events with. Oh and finally try to get em support. I can't recall the last time a DM took control of the king. It has probably been over 2 years.
Now I sadly won't be returning. At least not soon. I got burned out on it all and lost all hope. A bit like Alexander the great I think the most active dwarven main that is willing should take up this daring quest to save KH. If that is Karond, 7threalm, stonebar, or someone else I don't know. I'd offer dwarven luck in this but that would leave half of you dead and the other half homeless. So instead here is a pinup girl to lift your spirits and ale to!
