Can't you GMW it anyways?

For a summon you can get at level 15ish it is damn good. Not sure why people want it to be epic capable. Currently with like 4 buffs this thing is powerful against even epic mobs. Plus all that other stuff you get from being a pm.

Maybe roll a druid?

yes but you will only get another +2 and keen will not work (well might work atm since half of the creature feats seem to be broken, but hopefully will get looked at, then it work work :P )

I like the new cohorts. :P

Just some thougts:
1. The dreadlord's summons are now lacking compared to the reworked cohorts,
2. A 20 HD vampire for a level 16 wizard is a bit much. Maybe 16 HD for level 16, and 20 HD for level 20?
3. A nessian warhound is actually lawful evil which wont get along a chaotic evil blackguard. Maybe rename it to "fiendish warhound" or make the ability alignmend-based and add a neutral and chaotic creature.

With no buffs.

Yeah, that thing is good enough.
How much of a more powerful summon would people ask for a 10 level PRC? It wont get any better than that. Like metaquad said, lets sticky this.
Mendel - Villi of En Dharasha Everae | Nikos Berenicus - Initiate of the Mirari | Efialtes Rodius - Blood Magus | Olaf Garaeif - Dwarven Slayer

Still holding out hope for a fiendish spider cohort for blackguards. I want muh faux Drow Judicator toon

I noticed something odd about the vampire warriors summoned by the shadow priests in the crypt on the field of the dead; they seem to disregard being turned.
Once turned, they get the visual effect of it, but attack the cleric regardless. The vampire warlocks try to cast spells but then seem to fail at the last moment if already turned.

Is this a feature of all summoned vampires, including PM ones, or something I'm misunderstanding about turning?

24 levels in cleric/hierophant, empowered and improved turning, master of energy, 29 charisma. The vampires are turned if the combat feedback and phasing blue vfx are anything to go by.

I think there was a pause of a round or so before they start attacking regardless. There is no hidden will save to break free of turning?

*Facepalms and edits his post* . . .
It was the battletide that I was routinely using in there. The debuff covers the vampire and permits it to attack.
