Recovering from Surgery

Unread post by Your best friend »

Hello friends,

If anyone wondered where I have been, I was checked into the Emergency Room on Friday. They discovered I have appendicitis so I had my appendix removed on Saturday in surgery. I'm back home, I'll just be recovering a few more days. The cool thing is I have three new scars on my belly, which will probably do wonders for my bikini body.

I'll post in this thread when I'm well enough to RP again! They have me on Tylenol 3, it just isn't doing a whole lot for the pain.

I'm glad things went well (relatively speaking, of course!). Be proud of those battle scars! I find it fun to make up a new story about my scars every time someone asks. "Oh that? Stung by a Portugese Man-of-war..." "This one? I fought a wild boar..." "Wiped out during a motocross championship race..." "Ritual knife fight in Bangalore..."

I now have to read everything else you write from now on. Because that was (bloody) fantastic :3.

Also, best speedy and (relatively) painless recovery YBF. Don't know who you play! Because I'm lazy and never check accounts of people i meet! But still, here is hoping you'll feel better soon :)

We'll have to do a scar comparison sometime. I've got four from my recent surgery stint, so no bikinis for me, either! :D

I'm glad to know you're doing well! The doctors must've caught it early for you to be home so soon; my co-worker spent almost a week in the hospital after hers ruptured.

I never quite know what to say about stuff like this. Glad it's over. Here's a teddy.

"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

Sounds like a bad weekend. :? I'm glad you were able to get yourself taken care of quickly and were released back home so soon!

Don't worry about the scars. Nobody will see them, anyway, if you stay inside at your computer and play BG:TSCC instead of going to the beach or to the pool? :D

But seriously, rest up and heal. I suppose you can be grateful at least in knowing that the ticking time bomb that is the appendix is now removed from your body, where it can do you no more harm?
