Chests and bones in the Drider Territory: Western Wilds

Unread post by Nyeleni »

The area with the driders seems to have low level chests, the dc is only 18 to open. Seems a bit low for such an epic area.

Might be the bones have the same issue?

You can find +4 stuff there. Just takes a month or two of endless grind, just like everywhere else.

Bump.

Has the difficulty been adjusted of the chests? DC 18 is a bit low after all to open the locks there.

What's the CR level of this area?

What level do players typically have to be to find this map survivable?

Forgive my ignorance, it's been a few years since I played an Underdark character. Or really any character, I suppose.

Eastern wilds is CR 20.

Western wilds got a recent revamp and they are are CR 26 area.

Just like with the surface dragon zones, you don't go there for the loot, unless you really wanted that elusive filthy rag, empty ale stein, spoon & 18gp.

What does it matter if you went there for the loot or not? A chest in a CR26 zone shouldn't be able to be opened easily. DC 18 is very low.

*FIXED* This area has been adjusted appropriately. (please bear in mind with higher rewards, there are higher risks.. ie- you "may find" stonger traps, unbashable chests etc.).
