While still at the Friendly Arm Inn, Caed Wynter-Rose of the Windspell Adventurers' Guild, passes by the offerings made here.

He is found considering the buckler on offer, that which proves an epic shield against spells. Approaching the seller, Caed speaks:

"Good sir...perhaps we can make a trade, where one item blessed in magic, is swapped for another. I have in my possession an amulet, handed down to me by my forefathers, that boosts the wearer's fortitude, reflex and will...beyond what they have naturally. I offer you this family heirloom, in trade for the Spellward Buckler...if that would suit you."

Caed shows the seller of these wears the amulet in question....

Osric nods and smiles to Caed. "Your proposal is accepted."

[Steve]

Caed reacts with a pleasing look upon his face.

"Agreed, then." Caed looks fondly one last time upon the amulet he is willing to trade for the buckler, then makes a motion to finalize the deal.

Caed Wynter-Rose, recently returned to the Gate with the Windspells, notices Osric's recent updates to his merchant wares. With little delay, Caed contacts Osric to state he will meet the minimum for the Sorcerer's Ring that has recently come into Osric's possession.
