Deathsinger
My character was given Song of Celerity at first level Deathsinger. I'll report any other class bugs I encounter here as well.

Re: Deathsinger
Bladesong Style doesn't seem to reapply after resting. I have to manually switch armors for it to reapply.

Re: Deathsinger
Thanks for putting those fixes in the next update!
Since I had Song of Celerity, I went ahead and tried it to see how it worked. I'm not sure if it was due to being lower than 7th level Deathsinger but I couldn't get it to work. Are there only certain spells that work? It would let me cast a spell on my sword but then wouldn't recast it on the first creature I hit. Am I using it wrong? Come to think of it, I never tried to see if it was an activated ability. Do I need to activate it first? Thanks!

Re: Deathsinger
You put Song of Celerity on your hotbar, click it to activate it, click the spell you want, then target your sword with it. After that your character will glow for a bit and you'll notice something on your sword that says Song of Celerity CL27 (or whatever your actual CL is).

Do reserve feats work for this like invisible needle?

Re: Deathsinger
As in, a Reserve Feat "fires" when you hit with your sword? A one time 9d4 dmg, then reapply (if talking about a Lvl 9 spell reserve)?Aurali wrote:Do reserve feats work for this like invisible needle?

Re: Deathsinger
Note that each time you 'reapply' you are casting a spell, thus wasting a full round of attacks... If you are doing ~20 damage per attack with let's say 3 attacks per round actually landing, attacking every other round would add ~22.5 damage... So you would be talking 60 damage / round (for landing 3 attacks) vs. 82.5 damage 1 round and zero the next. Thus it really is not the best use of your attacks.Steve wrote:As in, a Reserve Feat "fires" when you hit with your sword? For a Nova round to start each combat it's not bad since it is unlimited, but even disintegrate would obviously be a far better alpha if you are going for damage. Not to mention party friendly AoE's or save or X spells.

Is it possible to cast a spell on the sword and then utilize tenser's thus avoiding the ASF on the embued spell?

Takes some set of stones to cast that first disintegrate on your epic blade.chad878262 wrote:but even disintegrate would obviously be a far better alpha if you are going for damage.

Re: Deathsinger
After last night's update, Bladesong Style still goes away after resting. I have to switch armors or unequip and then re-equip my weapon for it to activate.
