A well-scripted advertisement is posted on the bulletin board in Baldur's Gate. A thin grit of sand can be felt on it.
The Water Queen's House seeks to fill its library with holy books of Umberlee and the sea.
Especially needed is a tome called "Book of the Waves." Another is called a dusty tome.
We are also accepting Books of prayers.
Inquire with Dread Wavecaller Perle Wynn.

On his way to barter for supplies Sirion Te'dwa stops to read the board for any news, his gaze lingering on the advertisement before he moves on. No message is left in reply.

"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

"Dread wavecaller, I am Aurora and I have such a book. As a priestess of the Waterlord and a Seeker of Candlekeep I can understand your interest in that particular tome. I can be found at the keep most times of the day."

A simple missive is sent:
Dread Wavecaller Wynn ~
I remain in possession of such a tome, this Book of the Waves. I have held it for some time now, for your reputation precedes you along the Sword Coast and I had hoped we might one day meet.
As a fellow woman of the clergy, I will gladly relinquish this volume unto your care, a gesture that might possibly lead to a bond between our two faiths.
Blessings be upon you, that harm might be diverted unto others less reverent.
~ Regards, Priestess Vyrana Ravenmoor

Re: Wanted: Holy books for the Water Queen's House
A note is added in a terrible and tiny handwriting.
A little while back, I was with a few friends in the gnolls den. I found that wet book then. I really didn't expect to find any such thing with those nasty humanoids. It makes you wonder what such illiterate creatures need it for. In fact, it made me wonder if they truly are illiterate, or whether they're just pretending. It's like my aunt Bretta used to say: "Some things are not what they seem." But then, it turned out she needed glasses as thick as horseshoes, so maybe she wasn't all that reliable. Well, when it comes to observations, that is. She was most reliable when it came to appointments, and disliked my occasional tardiness. But that wasn't the point. The point was, that she was a lovely, wise woman, whose only fault was poor eyesight. And even that really wasn't her fault. It was the fault of a wasp, really. It just went up and flew right into her face. She would have ducked, I'm sure, but she was carrying a stack of empty pots and pans (it was the end of her husband's birthday party) and she paid little attention to her surroundings as she balanced those pans and pots. The little bug hit her in the eye and may have stung her, impairing her sight in the process. You can imagine that when such a thing happens, even horseshoe glasses don't make a difference anymore. That didn't keep her from wearing them though!
A second note in the same handwriting is added below that.
I almost forgot, I've got that wavy book. Ask for Fluggle Flodderdab near the Friendly Arm Inn.
