You might want to read up on Sacred FIST... Namely the Sacred Fist Code of Conduct and what happens when they use weapons...

The issue is Spirit Shaman doesn't have spells to increase Attack Bonus and you have no way to account for the - 8 AB penalty for using the kama's (regardless if they look like claws, mechanically they are kama's). I suppose you could wear them and just be a spell caster... Or you could scrap Sacred Fist and just go SS26/M4 (or SS/Hierophant/Monk). Wear the claws, but otherwise just be a full caster.

essentially what i want is the SS/druid spellbook and monk perks. i have done SF with cleric but the druid spellbook+monk SF sounds fun.

so lets drop sacred fist... how about a SS24/M6?

How about SS16/H8/M6? Can get CL30 (SP 1 and 2), Toll of Nature, and one more Hierophant ability (inscribe rune, maybe?). If you really want the Spirit Shaman abilities up to 20 you could just go SS20/H4/M6 and have CL30. I would argue that SS24/M6 only gets one extra bonus feat, but the plus 2 CL from H4 is worth more than 1 bonus feat, and CL29 gives +1 to DC...

Note that Hierophant no longer requires Lore: Religion, it can be qualified with either religion or Lore:Nature, making the above possible.

DG's Hospitaler build is also an option, but will only hit CL 24, so that is something you should be cognizant of. Also, you would only get to Hospitaler 8 unless you drop SS down to 14...

Good luck trying to make a high CL melee shaman that doesn't, quite frankly.

well, if you are using kama's you will get 3.5 (kama) + 4.5 (flame or frost weapon) + any additional weapon enhancements... Even with Fists, Spirit Shaman is far more defensive as a sacred fist than cleric is due to the difference in buffs. Spirit Shaman gets Barkskin, Owl's Insight, Stoneskins etc. while Cleric gets Bless, Aid, Divine Favor, Divine Power, Battletide and the like. So if you are expecting a Spirit Shaman to play similar to a Cleric when adding Monk (with or without sacred fist) then you are sadly mistaken. By removing SF you take away your fist damage increases compounding the matter so yeah, your AB and Damage is going to suffer. The other option is to have fewer CL, use fists and build something with more monk/SF, but then the synergy is nowhere near as good as it is when you make a M20/C3/SF7, for example.

You can actually make a Monk 20 / Spirit Shaman 10 (or whatever gives Level 5 Spirit Shaman spells), and with a CL of 14 you'd get +7 to WIS, using Monk and Intuitive Strike, there is some power there.

Just don't place yourself in a situation where you'd get dispelled!

Or, utilize some of those high CL scrolls that drop or Elixirs, if they exist!

Isn't that 2 lvls too much? Probably SS14?
