General History: Lyna was born in the city of Neverwinter in 1335DR. Her parents unable to afford a child abandoned her at the local orphanage shortly after her birth. Due to her "weird" Aasimar traits, mainly the glow to her eyes. Lyna was never adopted although unlike many of her kind she got along well with the other children. At the age of eight a monk passing through the city in search of a new disciple, Would become her Guardian. A kind and compassionate man by the name of Fontayne, who belonged to the monastery of Sun and Moon at the edge of the sword mountains.
It is within this monastery that Lyna was raised and trained in the monk arts. It was a simple life style devoid of lavish luxuries and outside influence. Although the young woman was plagued with wanderlust she was happy and healthy. At the age of sixteen she was admitted into the order of the Sun Soul by Fontayne. A teaching she flourished in for the next two years, However before she could delve further into the arts of the Sun Soul. She was appointed a task, To go out into the world and learn of the races and customs that live under the light of Selune and Lathander. Both happy to finally quell her wanderlust and sad to leave her family and home, Lyna begrudgingly accepted her task. Starting in the city of Neverwinter Lyna found her self within what she considered the perfect city, ruled by the lawful and goodly of Tyr. She remained within the city for only a few months before making her way to Baldur's Gate, curious at the difference between a merchant city and a city governed by the goodly.
Additional Information
Gear: She wears no armor and carries no real weapons. The only item of note at his stage is a gold chain with a set of three small holy symbols upon it. One for Sune, Selune and Lathander.
