i tried to access it about a month ago and found the really tough hobgoblins. that was from the transition north of soubar past the ruins with wolves.

Well that's not quite where the area is, very far away from it even !
You can access it from Nashkel foothills, Durlag's tower exterior and along the Chionthar, east.

used to be accessed from there. playing an orc limits some of those access points, but not completely. ill have to check it out!! thanks vale

Hi Guys thanks for all the input.
Since I posted this I have had a couple of offers of assistance while in game.
My thanks to the character Sigmond Degrand ( apologies on the spelling ) who talk me for a guided tour of the Cloud Peaks great exploration, RP and lots of Giants, Yetis etc.
I have also found and explored the Uldoon Trial and even made my way to Durlags tower and started an exploration of the first floor thanks for that tip LuvHandles!
I am happy with the build I know it won't be optimal but the RP value makes up for it.
What I am keen on is a feeling on weather it will be survivable if I try dipping into the more Epic areas of the server.
Thanks again guys it's really helpful to get this input it makes me enjoy this great world we all share even more!

The epics is where weakness get exposed. It can be tough.
