Planar Binding does not summon a creature
Tested this out yesterday. I tried using the default summon and also selecting a specific creature in the magic effects setting. Character will cast and consume the spell, but no creature will appear.

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
I think there's "just" a few options that don't summon anything. Did you try any others?
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
First time I tried I had used the Celestial Lion and then set it to default. When default didn't work, I figured the spell itself was broken. I'll try some of the other critters later and report back.

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
I think I discovered the problem. When you go into the magical effect options, the summons it list do not match up with the Planar Binding options. The menu lists the following:
Air, Fire, Earth, & Water Elemental
Celestial Lion, Bear, Wolf, & Stag
Sylph
Shadow Mastiff
Fire & Ice Mephit
However, if you select the options radial to come up during summoning, the radial gives a different list:
Justice Archon
Movanic Deva
Monadic Deva
Moon Dog
Bralani
Firre
Djinni
Jann
No Choice
All have been tested and work properly. It seems the list for Planar Binding under the magic effects options is listing unavailable summons for the spell.

Thanks. I will look into it in a while (no clue yet which script contains the info). For now use the radial system

He's talking about the player options conversation.

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
I noticed that lesser planar binding has similar issues.
When I attempt the Faerie Dragon from the radial menu, nothing happens. There are probably more summons like the Faerie Dragon that don't work, but I haven't tested them all.

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
I figured I'd tack this on here. Since the last update, the radial options have changed. The options are now:
Slaad (Green, Gray, Red, Blue)
Bralani
Firre
Djinni
Jann
Justice Archon, Movanic Deva, Monadic Deva, & Moon Dog have been removed. Was this intentional or did the new Slaad options accidentally overwrite these ones?

Intentional.

Though I am aware that some alignments will have lesser choices then before so I will add a few more next update.

The previous set of summons was just a "step-in-between to this update".A extraplanar creature can only be summoned if its within one step of the caster's alignment.
Though I am aware that some alignments will have lesser choices then before so I will add a few more next update.

Nachti, are elementals summonable for all alignments (for lesser/planar/greater binding & summon VI or higher)?

LN.. greater planar.. the only neutral summon is the qorrashi (the rest are good or evil). I'd love to see a tamed down marut or a beefed up Jann in there.

The qorrashi is great (though a weapon to keen would be perfect). I appreciate all of your work. Still going through all of these but like what it seems.

Re: Planar Binding does not summon a creature
There are other Inevitables, which I consider.
The only reason why elementals arent available for planar spells is that summon creature V-IX would become obsolete if "planar spells get everything".
Perhaps my change to the animals will make them more used.
