100% RCR..

Unread post by Sputnik »

I've been hearing/reading mixed information about this.

Is there a 100% RCR period coming up in August?

Subject: State of the Server (2017-2018)

It's a (fairly strong) possibility, but not 100% for suresies right now. It depends on whether we change evasion as described above (to not work in heavier-than-light armor).

In the latest patch, I didn't see any evasion update notes, but I may have missed something.

Was evasion updated? If so, do we have a 100% RCR at this point?

Well I lost some items in KEMO storage after the server update/patch and the only one I'm really concerned about is some mithral scale mail with +2 constitution.

Didn't get any screenshots to save because I'm terrible with Steam. Didn't really want to start a thread about it since it's fairly minor.

The vaults were restored so your items are back. The storage system is disabled for now

Should honestly just do 100% RCR period for a month once a year just due to all the updates or peoples mistakes on their characters who are epic, spell updates, all the things that accumulate through the year. Just set it for August each year and let people update their characters. People will love you for it.

Please do... i now have to do an rcr because of the summoning nerf... the summons were a joke before but now they are even worse and are not worth anyone's time without the spell focus feats. Being that i am lv 25 i would prefer not to have to drop back to 20 or less as the xp system on this server punishes epic lvs by default. My time is limited and i do not wish to waste it with grinding back up again. And yeah... do something like that and the player base will grow exponentially.

What nerf? I am afraid you are confused.

Here is how the summoning works - http://bgtscc.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning

Here is another thread where someone, wrongly assumed the summons were nerfed - viewtopic.php?p=758744#p758744

Not just players want to see a RCR period happen :P

I just hope that I can get as much as possible projects done until a RCR period hits ;)

Can say its not a nerf but here is how i see it: Statistics don't lie... humans do. Now im not saying you yourself are lying in this matter per say... but if its a choice between looking at statistics or taking the word of a human who might or might not be mistaken i will choose statistics every time. The summons, rp xp, and loot were fine as they were... statistics now clearly show that the changes have made them weaker. If it looks like a nerf and it nerfs like a nerf then its a nerf.

Again Vrass, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Here are the stats for planar ally for example. http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Planar_Binding%2C_Greater See what they are now.

Its not a philosophical matter about humans, nor a mathematical matter about statistics. Its about facts that you choose to ignore in order to satisfy your personal desire.
