Weapon type changed after update?

Hi guys I logged in yesterday and after the update an item I use called "The Crack Token" has changed from a Short Sword to a Dagger.

Normally this would not worry me but the character that uses it is a dual wielding Weaponmaster who specializes in Short Swords.

Is there a reason for this change? It seems a strange one and has changed the item to having a lot less value to me.
