Cosimo Delucca attends the Twilight Rose. After greeting those present with charming smiles and knowing winks, he leaves a letter for Aidan!

On a bright and crisp mid-morning and just before the tide takes out a set of ships destined for far-off locations, a box arrives by courier at the Twilight Rose. There are instructions that this is an important and private matter for the Captain Aidan Thatcher only. There is a wax seal to show that the box is not tampered with.

*Captain Thatcher would be seen most of the day, after getting the box, staring out the aft windows of his cabin at the harbor waters. His mind traveling over a thousand roads of thought. His bedroom door hung wide open with no sight of his last girlfriend, for the first time in forever no woman hanging about him looking for affection. He seems neither happy nor upset, he gives orders and talks to those who need his attention but otherwise, he seems disposed to his thoughts*

"And this one... oh, hey Harv! Look at this!" The dockworker exclaims. "This one goes right there!", he says as he hooks a thumb toward the ship just across the dock where the crates were being unloaded from their trade ship.

"I'll just run it over, it's not too big," says the other man. He hefts the crate as it jingles slightly with the sounds of glass.

After dropping off, the crate addressed to the Twilight Rose bears the mark of a Waterdavian export merchant. Inside are a dozen dark green translucent glass bottles of Zzar Sherry with an attached note: "Found this interesting, not sure if I really like it, but it has some kick... thought you might give it a try. It's complicated, like so many other things." The note is signed with the letter I.

The bardess and good friend of Captain Thatcher, Iris, brought in a good sized group consisting of one large man in furs, another fellow in robes, and 4 women. One of the ladies was reportedly a tiefling. She escorted them to the back room where singing, dancing and conversation ensued for many hours. During that time, copious amounts of alcohol was consumed and much laughter was heard. Apparently there was an engagement announcement, followed by another, and celebration with more song and dance. Iris was the last to leave, looking tired but satisfied at the cheery faces of her companions preceding her.

She went to the bar and smiled at Mendri, getting a pour of whiskey and slipping her a letter addressed to the Captain himself. She drinks her whiskey, letting her mood simmer to a warm calm before departing.

"Until next time, Mendri," She says before departing with a bittersweet smile. She walks out in her own fashion and usual gait, leaving patrons and employees to look after her as she passes; a common occurrence of someone naturally commanding attention in whatever space she inhabits. And like the wind, she was gone again, and the Rose seemed a bit more quiet and dim.

Of late, the quiet of the crew deck has been disturbed by sounds of night terrors emanating from the cabin commonly known among the staff as the "Green Room". It's occupant frequently calls out the word "Cegilar" during her disturbed sleep, and often seems frazzled and disorientated on the morning's following such night-time outcries.

OOC: While those sleeping throughout the deck might hear muffled moans and cries during the night, only those in nearby rooms (those occupied by Deladra, Fingal, and the occupants of the hammock room immediately West of the Green Room, might discern any actual words amidst the muffled moans.
