Planar Cohort doesn't just work on the spell

Initially, I was just trying to get hold of a Planar Binding scroll to double check a summon, but I discovered something else in the process. Planar Cohort seems to work on anything that can cast the Planar Binding or Planar Ally spells whether it's a scroll, wand, or any other object. As long as a Thamaturge 5 uses it before summoning any other Planar Binding/Ally spell, that summon will remain until the Thamaturge rests or the outsider is dispelled/banished. I'm not sure if this is intentional or if it can even be fixed if it's not, but I figured it was worth pointing out.
