Universal Saves cap at +10 or +20?
The NWN2 Wiki states both...so what is correct? Cheers.

Well, it can't be +10 because I have +12 through universal save items and another +7 with greater heroism and greater resistance and my character sheet matches my combat log. I wonder if I used superior resistance would it bump by 3 more or just 1? TBH though, I didn't even realise there was a cap of any sorts!

Okay. So, for sake of argument, and regarding Spells Save defence:
With Gr. Heroism +4, Superior Resistance +6, Protection from Spells +8, you have only room for a +2 Universal Saves item, and/or another Spell affecting any or all of the 3 save types?
Right?

Right. Spellcraft bonus still stacks however.

I've been putting together a dwarf sorc idea, and it has, for Fortitude, for example:
21 Fort base
10 (Hardiness +2; Spell knowledge +2; spellcraft +6)
2 Bear's
2 Eagle's
4 Gr. Heroism
6 Superior Resistance
8 Protection from Spells
2 item (or spell addition)
-----------------------
55
lol.

Re: Universal Saves cap at +10 or +20?
Pretty sure that would be. . .
21 Fort (base)
+2 (Bears)
+10 (G. Heroism+Superior Resistance)
+Up to 10 vs Spells (Spellcraft, Protection from Spells, Hardiness vs Spells) as this stacks with the universal save cap.
+2 vs Poison (Hardiness vs Poisons)
Pretty sure anything that provides a global increase across WILL, FORT, and REFLEX counts towards the universal save cap. For example, protection from spells gives you a global increase across all 3 saves when saving against spells, so it stacks.
I'm not sure why Eagle's Splendor was included in the above calculation. If you have CHA-to-Saves, I'm pretty sure that counts against the cap as well.
Against a spell that causes poison, the +2 vs Poison wouldn't take effect then, since you have reached +20 already.
So, against a spell, you'd be getting 21+2+10+10, which would be 43. Still impressive, however.
Just pick up Steadfast, and you are set

Are there other saves rolls then spells and traps ?
And is a trap mechanically considered as a spell ? Does Protection from Spells kick in here ?

No, traps are not spells. Even if spells are triggered through them.
