A call for help was sent by missive to the Order of the Silver Rose, addressed to Lady Elvina, Knight Commander, from Barnstock Clan ( a local family of horsetraders ), whom the order had purchased horses from previously.

"Greetings Holy Order and Lady Elvina,

We the Barnstock Clan knows ye to be a kind and mighty heroine in the parts ...
and we must speak with you and your knights. We believe the unholy spirits have invaded our horse pastures, and have lost half our herd already, please help us.

Members of The Order of the Silver Rose and The Order of the Radiant Heart were seen once again together on Patrol. Fully armed and armored they were seen marching in a loose formation into and through the Cloakwood Forest towards the Haunted Mansion.

There they were met with a horridly powerful and deadly Ghost. One that struck fear and terror into the hearts and minds of the most stalwart of warriors. After many times of falling back, regrouping and changing tactics, they finally were able to best the Vile Creature. They continued on searching for any other vile beasts or apparitions through the Haunted Mansion, including it's resident Lich they call Chaos, clearing it of evil if only for a time.

We then marched to the Northwest of the Haunted Mansion and came to find the Barnstock farmhouse deserted and only 2 Horses remaining loose in the pasture. Not finding anything else haunting the area other than it's natural denizens, the two lone abandoned horses were taken back to the Order of the Silver Rose stables until we can find the Barnstock Clan once again and return them to their rightful owners.

All Knights and Squires of both Orders were accounted for and returned safely after the incident to rest and recover from their injuries.

*Seth steps into the morning sun from the front door of the keep. Events from the prior day weighing heavily upon his mind. Dressed in common attire, he has left his armor with the squires to be repaired and cleaned.

He walks towards the stables with both back pockets filled with carrots retrieved from their kitchen. Seth has decided to give some attention and brush down the horses retrieved from the old farm house in the Deep Cloakwoods.

Offering a carrot and speaking calmly to the first horse reassuring him that he is safe. He then begins to carefully and methodically brush the horse down, continually speaking to him as he does. As Seth Brushes the Horses down Seth inspects the horses closely, looking for injuries or anything else that looks suspect.*

Lady Missy is on the warpath again. Someone took her carrots from the kitchen that she was going to use for carrot and beet soup. "If I ever catch...erg!," she stomps out to the garden to see if there are enough carrots for the soup.

After Sunday's private meeting, Knights of the Silver Rose were seen once again, fully armed and armored, patrolling the Trade Way and deep into the Cloakwood forest. Searching for any clues into the sudden appearance of the deadly and terrifying Ghosts and the disappearance of the horse farmers with their now abandoned farm house. The remaining 2 horses left behind are being cared for in the stables of the OSR Keep.
