What are their stats?
Do they have godlike skills? (spot, listen, diplo, bluff, sense motive.. etc..)
(I remember seeing a post a couple years ago stating that their spot and listen was 50 each, cant seem to find it now)

Mechanical stats can vary from guard to guard, sometimes in numbers and sometimes by DM fiat. Generally the rule of thumb is not to assume NPC guard reactions (or lack thereof) when a DM is not present to oversee, since that would constitute metagaming NPCs.

One aspect to keep in mind about NPCs in general, is that a single NPC most often represents a number of those types of NPC (so 1 city guard could be a group of 5–10, for example).
The engine and PW simply cannot handle a true representation of the population, so in order to keep the game running, this use of imagination is required.
And, to imagine that in that "group" of city guards, you might have any number of Skilled members of different professions, that are doing their "job" with extreme efficiency!

The sword coast doesnt need heroes they have god like guards with 100 spot and listen and shit like that :p
