For any utilizing Wineskin, the engine WS9Wine2.3 is out and I've used it successfully. Better yet, it seems to be speedier under the hood, so to speak.

Two updates for us special Mac gamers:

1) WS9Wine2.6 engine is out, and fully playable. I still have crashes, but I attribute that to an outdated Wrapper (Wineskin 2.6.2). Which brings me to...:

2) I just learned about Porting Kit, and they have an incredibly simple install process for making a wrapped port of the Windows DRM-free version of NWN2, available from GOG.

I haven't tried it yet, but maybe when GOG has another sale, I'll buy a copy just to see if this works out.

I'm back to Mac, sold my old one a few years ago and now I need to re-learn how to do all this again. I have all the files you shred for me saved in my Google drive, is what you posted above in your own G drive the same thing? Mine would be outdated, for sure.

The files found here are for Wineskin and Wine, but waaaaay old.

I'm currently using the Wineskin Wrapper 2.6.2 and WS engine 2.6.

But that's not a problem! If you have a complete copy of files, you just need to update the Wrapper and the Engines in Wineskin Winery, and then open the Application file for Package Contents (right click) and open Wineskin, and update the Wrapper and the Engine.

Don't download the engines 2.7 to 2.12. I tried doing that last night, and applied them...then it killed my emulator. I had to reinstall everything...again.

What 7z program do you use, Steve? I have unarchiver, but it seems to dislike what I'm doing (specifically the .001 segment. It doesnt seem to think there is anything there)

Are all you uncompressing attempts failing?

I've gotten an error that the file ending .001 is incomplete. If I exclude that one, everything else seems to work

Well that' a bummer cause the .001 final is kinda important...and, usually helps order the entire package back to its uncompressed form!

I'm uploading the .001 file again. I'll post again when it is live for you to download.

I think I am having a connection issue mostly. The files are not downloading properly from Google. I'll keep trying. The most recent error I got was a "keka fatal error" message about part .072

Still no luck. I am not sure what the issue is. I think I've got it all decompressed and have a folder on the desktop for the wrapper now, but I can't remember what the next step is.
