Rogue Strike Feats

Unread post by clean_slate »

So I was brainstorming some ideas for Rogue type character and I have an extra feat. I noticed several Rogue specific clickable combat feats, namely :

Blinding Strike
Bleeding Strike
Staggering Strike

Are they any good? Which one would be the most useful (planned build would have only 11 Rogue levels, as they get HiPS from Assassin).

Thanks.

Bleeding strike is terrible, currently doesn't work, but even in practice its not worth the loss of dps.

Blinding strike is better, because it allows for additional sneak attacks on a blinded target.

No real opinion on staggering, but like bleeding, doesn't seem worth it.

Blinding Strike is the only worthwhile feat on that list IMO. You don't need full Rogue to have it be beneficial, so long as you have full or near full Sneak Attack Dice to increase the DC. If you have some build that is R11/A9/Somethingwithoutsneakdice 10 then your DC will likely still be higher than Assassin Death Attack DC. It will work more often then Feint works on the surface, but I wouldn't ever rely on it, just consider it gravy when it works.
