Word of Changing should have a few more forms.

Kaedrin had a 3rd tier warlock invocation called Hellspawned Grace, which turned the character into a hellhound. Perhaps that could be implemented as well.

Word of Changing could then turn the character into an powerful that reflects their alignment:
Lawful Evil: Devils
Neutral Evil: Yugoloths/Undead
Chaotic Evil: Demons/Unseelie Fey/Aberrations/Slaadi/Undead
Chaotic Neutral: Unseelie Fey/Slaadi/Aberrations
Chaotic Good: Celestial Creatures/Seelie Fey

Hellspawned Grace could then turn creatures into lesser creature of their alignment, things like magical beasts and the like?

YEEEEESSS! Different forms with Warlock spells would be the best!

Alignment based seems interesting, though it could just as easily work like polymorph and shapechange does now; prompting a menu to choose from.

Hellspawned Grace has been in-game for years as a Greater Invocation. Or at least it used to be/should be, I haven't got a new spell selection level on my warlock in a while.

Hellspawn Grace is okay for it's Greater tier casting level, but Word of Changing outclasses it in nearly everyway (save for the 50% concealment). I'd love to be able to use both of these as sort of a pseudo-polymorph ability but they only do one form each. Once I got high enough level to pickup word of changing, I dropped Hellspawn Grace like a hot plate.

I understand HsG's a lower tier spell than WoC, but it's enjoyability has worn thin once you're a level 16 Warlock.
