Cloakwood spider webs!
I'm bugged right now. Movement speed like.. 5-10% or normal or something equally silly. It doesn't seem to wear off until rest. It happened to someone else yesterday too, and I'm wondering if it's a new thing cause it hasn't been quite this annoying or hard to get rid of before.
It's from the webs cast by the spiders.

Tried haste, but I mean even if logging on and off works I'd still consider that a problem? :0
Haste did nothing. Resting did remove it. When it happens again I'll try relog.

Did you get someone to cast Freedom of Movement on you? That removes all speed decreasing effects.

My question was a bit cryptic, did you have haste when you ran throught the web ? It is weird but if you have haste while crossing the web and you log off I believe the speed decrease remains.

I don't think I was hasted at that point, at least I hadn't cast it myself. Maybe that dastardly orc I was partying with did. Didn't log off though, and it just stayed till I rested some five minutes later.

Re: Cloakwood spider webs!
An old bug has been that if you are hasted and then slowed by anything (usually web), then the haste speed stops working, even if you actually made the save against the web so that it shouldn't affect you. Happens to me all the time when playing as a warlock. Reapplying haste does not fix it, but if one waits until the haste wears off naturally then you can once again haste and get the speed.
What was different yesterday was that the slowing effect and the haste icon just never left. Lasted for ages, until I rested. Don't think I ever relogged during this time.

If you were the one that castes haste, you can pull up the dismiss spell menu, dismiss the haste and then reapply and your speed should be back to normal. If you didn't cast it, I believe you can cast it on yourself and then dismiss and then cast again for full speed. Having a pair of boots of speed helps so you can apply a temporary haste, dismiss and then use your spell book haste.

The irony of this mind numbing annoying bug, is your summons are slowed (even when hasted) but after a few second out of the web or grease, they lose the slow and run around fast again.

Re: Cloakwood spider webs!
I've now had this without having haste cast at all. I tried to relog, nothing different, the slow effect stays.
Edit: After relog and map transition and some summoning and warding I cast haste. Inside the mansion my ghaele cast freedom of movement on me even though I have no debuffs
didn't do anything. Once the haste ran out the slow cleared up.
Edit2: Later on I noticed I had invisibility, but it didn't show in the character window. The character did look invisible though, and it stuck long after it would have. Which reminds me I was invisible when first slowed by the web effects. It was dismissable from the list.
