Background: Born to a corrupt orc warchief and the daughter of a neighboring human village, Miruk was the result of a treaty between humans and orcs. An agreement that would leave the human village out of the way of their destruction and terror.

The agreement was that the daughter of the human village's chief was to bear a child with the orc warchief, so that he may have a predecessor when his time ends. During her months pregnant with Miruk, she experienced immense amounts of of abuse and mistreatment from the warchief and other orcs of the tribe.

One particular night was to much when she finally caved in and decided to run away that night.
She knew they'd find her if she went back to her village, so she decided to flee southwest until she eventually reached Baldur's Gate where she started a new life as a baker, and eventually gave birth to her half-orc child.

Her new friends and family in Baldur's Gate were quite shocked by the gray-skinned and tusked baby that was born from her, some were even quite appalled. She always kept her past behind her and wasn't quick to tell anyone of it. Some thought the worst, that she might have some kind of ties to the orcs, and that the birth of her son was some kind of omen for an impending invasion. Because of this her and Miruk from that point on were treated as outcasts.

Miruk never quite understood why he was treated so differently from the other human and elf kids, but even more confused why he was treated so differently from other half-orcs. His mother was eventually pushed into a position where she had to tell him about his father and the conditions in which he was conceived. It never really bothered him much in his early years, mostly because he wasn't old enough to really understand the circumstances, but as he got older he began to grow a hatred for his father. His mother knew of his growing hatred and urged him to not pursue this path of anger.

When he was large enough to wield a longsword, he told his mother that he wanted to start training as a guard, to help protect the law in Baldur's Gate. To her unknowing however it was just his way of learning to fight without seeming suspicious to his mother. He soon surpassed the other guards and quickly outgrew their training, so he decided he'd turn to mercenary work to better his fighting skills. All in an attempt to take revenge against the one that beat and abused his mother.

Goals: Seek out and kill his father.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: He tells himself time and time again that this is all in revenge for his mother, but deep inside it's more about taking back his birth right; the orc tribe.
