Rage Duartion

Unread post by AlfarinIcebreaker »

So, pretty straightforward question - how much Rage duration, per minutes, should I am for with my Battlerager guy?

Also, can someone vet my calculations regarding Rage duration and rest timer :

Base duration for Rage is :

10 rounds (with new changes to Barbarian)
5 rounds from 20 CON ability
10 rounds from Extend Rage II
equals 25 rounds per Rage.

Uses 9 (25 Barbarian + Primal Rage amulet)

That equates to 225 rounds of Rage, or 22.5 minutes. Rest timer is HDx0,75 minutes, so 22.5 minutes between rests at level 30, correct?

Would that be enough?

Yes. That is enough. Plus, don't forget, you aren't raging all the time. You only really need to rage when its necessary (most of the time, but still, you can have afk periods and such). So, it'll last a bit longer because of that.

Just to check here, if I pick Standard Rage will CON bonus count towards longer Rage duration?

Specifically :

Dwarf Barbarian/Battlerager. Starting CON of 18+2 item.

Extended Rage I from Battlerager.

That would equal to how many rounds of Rage per use? 10 base + 10 CON + 5 feat = 25. Is that correct?

i dont rage every fight and push fights when i rage. dont have amulet either and i still typically rest with rages left on my counter. rage duration and number has not been an issue for my barb. i know you want to prepare well, but this will be less of an issue than you think.
