Wild Elf heads
Could we get the Moon Elf heads added to the Wild Elf choices, please? The existing heads are the old, old, old, potato-people ones.
If the newer Moon Elf heads don't fit the Wild Elf bodytype, could we please at least get the Half-Elf ones added as a compromise?
On a completely unrelated note is it possible to add heads as a type of helmet, similar to how wigs work? Just curious.

What is the application of this? :0Calantyr wrote:... is it possible to add heads as a type of helmet, similar to how wigs work?
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

Re: Wild Elf heads
I played a single player NWN1 campaign where one of the cohorts was undead and his default helmet was his actual head - so he could unequip it.
That was about the only memorable thing about that campaign, sadly.

Re: Wild Elf heads
Should be possible to add heads like that. I think it's just a flag in the model file, determines how much of the head is hid. But, it's something that could cause more silliness than actual contribution to the server.

Yeah, I was thinking of a class that could switch faces (aka Faceless Men) and have the face-masks only useable by that class.PaulImposteur wrote:Should be possible to add heads like that. Then I remembered that Use Magic Device is a thing that exists.

Could function like enchanted sword, in that case? Spell like ability that adds a non-dropable item to inventory. removes it upon rest.

Re: Wild Elf heads
I'm pretty sure that would work. Needs a class designed around it though, more options for the Master of Disguises?PaulImposteur wrote:Could function like enchanted sword, in that case? Spell like ability that adds a non-dropable item to inventory. removes it upon rest.
On a similar note to the main point, Tieflings could probably make use of the Half-Elf heads. A lot of the existing heads are already shared with humans, but I think pointy-ears make more sense.

Re: Wild Elf heads
Swore there was a PnP class that had many masks it would switch around to take on new disguises. Each mask offered some small buff of a different variety.

Re: Wild Elf heads
Elf heads could actually be shared for the most part. As its their colors are what are mostly notable and for wild elves also their size. Perhaps have a few wild elf heads with the option of tatoos and body paint.
Examples what a bit of coloring can do.
Moon elf head, Sun elf colors

Sun elf head, Moon elf colors

Wood elf head, Sun elf colors (btw! Why are those iris' so strange? Could they get normal eyes please?)

Wood elf head, Wild elf colors

Bonus edit.
Drow head, Moon elf colors (it does have some darkening issues in the texture, like around the eyes and skin)

Re: Wild Elf heads
Would it be possible for us to edit the 2DAs, that way all heads are automatically shared? It would drastically cut down on the number of MDB files we'd need to create, also cleaning up our files dramatically. That way we'd only have to add heads to 1 sub-race, but they'd all receive them.
