The tail needs to be a bit wider, me thinks.

Two bird models next to cat for size comparison.
Adjusted the Hawk/Parrot Tail width, made the wings angle correctly, widened parts of the head and body as needed. Greatly increased its wing span.

Maybe there should be a 'Find Familiar Spell' - sold as a scroll. Lets you switch your familiar.

You mean something that does exactly the same thing as the "Bind familiar" feat that every wizard and sorc gets for free ?

Does it work, or is still under 'developement' like Order of the Bow Initiate?

No honestly, Order of the Bow Initiate has been broken for years now. You know, I kind of wish this server had someone renown for fixing things...

You can definitely swap your familiar on the fly, my friend! Check your Feats on your wizard and look for Bind Familiar, as Valefort said.

In PnP, can't raven familiars actually talk? If ravens go IG, might need a GM ruling on that? Probably not I guess it's pretty minor

Shame all the really cool familiars require the extra feat.
It'd be nice if we could get the extra familiars, but with basic stats, as regular choices.
