Doron Amar - How to find it?
Just tell me transition by transition instructions starting from Friendly Arm Inn. I promise, I won't have my drow rub his nutsack on your things! That is a literal nutsack of poisoned nuts. Stop thinking weird things.

He really needs instructions.
Go east to Sharp Teeth. Find the transition for Gullykin. Look for another transition close by. Voilà.
Edit: Once in Doron Amar, do cross the first bridge but not the second without assistance of a citizen please. The smith is on the far left in Doron Amar.

I hate to admit it, but 'tis true.Nyeleni wrote:He really needs instructions.
And thank you.
Edit: Must've walked past that transition a hundred times.

All you have to do to find is...
...be a human wizard who's looking for an entirely different area. Your path will take you to it three times. Also a few stops in Greenest.

Re: Doron Amar - How to find it?
The best way to find Doron Amar is to find another player through Role Play IC.
If your an elf character I am sure many of the Elven players wouldn't mind an OOC tell expressing your interest and they will likely set up Role Play with you at some point to introduce you to the Elven Roleplay community. Getting integrated will make for a more enjoyable Role Play Experience for all.
However, if you are not an Elf, and trying to find Doron Amar such should be impossible in my view unless your guided by an elf the first time or someone who knows. Doron Amar is protected by a series of mental wards that can cause people to get lost, even skilled characters can become confused. Thus the only IC way to find Doron Amar is to have been guided there a few times before hand. Elves tend to be Xenophobic for the most part on the server as well, and wouldn't just trust a visitor who has no one to vouch for them or doesn't at the minimum speak their language.
With a tiny amount of RP, you will find what your looking for and likely enjoy it more. Hope that helps.

None of that rules out accidentally stumbling on the gates when you're looking for something else. It's the Lauron Method.Mallore wrote:However, if you are not an Elf, and trying to find Doron Amar such should be impossible in my view unless your guided by an elf the first time or someone who knows. Re: Doron Amar - How to find it?
Actually it would. Accidently stumbling upon a village thats hidden by wards and failing that, given false trails by elven rangers when you wander too close inside a dangerous, thick forest, the size of a small country, would make 'accidents' negligable.

If Doron Amar is protected like that, should it not be stated somewhere? >_>

Whether it's supposed to be protected like that or not I think the answer to that question has to be a resounding yes xDGlowfire wrote:If Doron Amar is protected like that, should it not be stated somewhere? >_>

It was more like three transitions through very light forests with the occasional orc in the same direction as the Reaching Woods.Tantive wrote:Actually it would. They removed the additional map that helped further obscure the location to save server space. Transitions are also distances. You can't treat them as neighbouring maps.

Fine... for those demanding a tax of elven RP... I shall put on a mask and brood in silence with the other hipsters at FAI.

For starters, Sharp Teeth/FAI transition is 50 miles alone.
