New player: Discord or chat?

As I wait for my other question to be answered so I could start up, does the server have a discord or chat? I could swamp the forums, but sometimes if you have simple questions it may be easier to just talk to someone directly

Playerbase activity on communication venues is as follows, ordered from the higher activity/pop to least:

1. Skype groups - This one tops out, also the longest run of them. There's a large myriad of groups, so depending on what involvement you have, chances are you'll be introduced to this first.

2. Discord - The largest collection of the playerbase spanning groups/discord servers resides here. Like Skype however, there are offshoot servers for various groups where more chat activity exists. You'll find more Developer and QC concentrations here. Not as popular as the Skype groups yet.

3. IRC - The smallest populated out of game communication but generally has someone talking, though the graphs show discussion is mostly made up of two - three people.
