A small group met in the Elfsong Tavern, holding discussions near the fireplace. It started with a rather tall Hin (well, tall for a hin) and a Tiefling woman. Soon they were joined by a Priestess which may have had some divine blood, a large warrior and similarly large sailor. After speaking for a time the group of 5 was seen heading out of the tavern, through the streets of the East Gate and Palace district and then out the gate to the Northern Farmlands. Once out in the Farmlands the group was seen searching about and questioning farmers before they eventually located a hidden cave.
After a time they exited the cave and would have been seen by farmers and the like speaking in jovial tones as they headed to the Eastern farmlands, toward the merchants that frequent the area outside of the Eastern Gate of the city. They conducted some trading, but being still hale and feeling rather confident they headed for the Graveyard.
They were not seen for some time after entering the graveyard, and when they did their faces might have been noted to be a bit more drawn. The hin's armor appeared to have several puncture wounds through it, though he did not appear injured himself. The Priestess appeared heavily bandaged, as though she perhaps had a close call herself.
The group spoke for a time near the merchant stalls and it might have been heard that they agreed the ventures were profitable enough to warrant a more permanent agreement to continue the venture together. Thus they separated, while still seeming quite apt to be seen again in the future.

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
Sitting in the Elfsong tavern, the hin known as Dagrin is seen drinking from a cup of wine in front of the fire when a Dark haired Tiefling woman approached him. A regular in the bar intruded upon their conversation to take a place by the fire and so may have passed on bits of their conversation. Apparently the woman was interested in contracting the newly formed group to pass on any old tomes or scrolls of knowledge. In exchange she offered services to provide arcane wards to the group if they had need and to identify any items they had trouble determining the purpose of. In addition, the Tiefling indicated that possible rewards of gold and valuable items might be provided, depending on the value of what the group brought to her.
The hin was heard telling the woman that he might be willing to pass on any news he happens upon, but would need to take her offer with regards to books to the rest of his team. In order to perhaps wet the hin's appetite, the woman flagged down a barmaid to bring something from the back and offered it to the hin, a suit of studded leather, the tanned hide of which was quite exotic, such as what might be crafted by a beast such as a Basilisk or Wyvern, maybe even a young wyrmling. The hin smiled and thanked the woman, but had an appointment to make, reassuring her he would leave word when next he returned from a foray with his small band of fellow treasure hunters.

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
Most of the same rag-tag band were seen meeting in the Elfsong for a time as they appeared to discuss options for their next adventure. Eventually it was settled that they would explore the ruins atop a hill not far from the Wyrm Bridge south of Baldur's Gate. Four strong, the group would have been seen by the Guards posted at the end of the bridge heading for the ruins. Sometime later, the small band would have been seen together entering the friendly confines of the Friendly Arm Inn. They seemed a jovial bunch, rather happy with their findings during whatever travails occurred during their time between the two locations.

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
A rather small exchange of conversation between three of the group, another group nearby drinking and listening to the shanties of Thokul. The priestess keeping to her studies, and the warlock keeping her thoughts to herself. The group then departs remaining within the friendly arm inn area doing their own personal tasks.

Thokul Milner's Sea Faring Shanties!

As the group yet to be named visits within the confines of the Friendly Arm Inn Thokul sings for them a couple of shanties. One he had written in his home land. The other newly invented after a pint of the Johnny Jump Up......
[parchment]Devil Down Below
I used to be a fisherman, on the icy crests we'd ride
Like a banshee on the wind, we'd sail the ocean wide
From the shoals of Luskan Bay to the Sea of moving ice we'd go...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below
Out to the snows of Icewind Dale, into the screaming gale
Out into the storm, chasing down the whale
When the harpoon struck, the mighty fish would blow...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below
In our bunks we'd find no solace, no comfort just remorse
We'd curse at the bad fortune that had set us on this course
Gathered 'round the lamplight we'd sing both high and low...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below
From the rocks of Fireshear to Uttersea we are bound
The skipper's yelling blood as the jagged cliffs we round
Jack Duggan in the foresail, Billy Reilly in the crow...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below
Only when we'd quenched this mighty vessel's appetite
Would the captain tell us "Lads, we'll be going home tonight!"
We'd turn to the raging sea and we'd raise our fists and yell
"You won't be seeing us today, you won't be seeing us in Hell!"
Once ashore we'd head into the pub for a tankard full of ale
One day would turn into a week and the time would come to sail
We'd say goodbye to the girls we love, then off from the shore we'd row...
And we'd shout! Shout! Shout! Shout at the Devil down below

[parchment]Johnny Jump Up
I'll tell ye a story that happened to me
One day as I went out to the Friendly Arm you see
The sun it was bright and the day it was warm
Says I, A quiet pint wouldn't do me no harm
I went to Bentley, I says give me a stout
Says Bentley, I'm sorry all the beer tis sold out
Try whiskey or vodka, ten years in the wood
Says I, I'll try cider, I heard it was good
Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up
After lowering the third I headed strait for the yard
Where I bumped into Brophy the big civic guard
He says come here to me boy don't you know we're in the law
Well I upped with my fist and I shot to his jaw
He fell to the ground with his knees crumpled up
But it T'wasn't I hit him t'was the johnny jump
And the next thing I met down in the Friendly Arm you see
Was a cripple on crutches, and says he to me
I'm afraid o' me life I'll be hit by a cart
Would you help me across to Bentley’s Bar
And after three pints of the cider so sweet
He threw down his crutches and he danced on his feet
Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten
I fell to the ground and I couldn't get up
After drinking a pint of the Johnny Jump Up
Now I went up the Trade way a friend to see
They call it the Madhouse in Baldur’s by the Sea
But when I got up there, the truth I do to tell
They had the poor bugger locked up in his cell
Says the guard testing him, say these words if you can
'Around the rugged rocks the ragged rascal ran'
Tell them I'm not crazy, tell them I'm not mad
T'was only six pints of that cider I had
Now a man died in the Fist by the name of Belarion
They washed him and laid him outside on a slab
And after the corroner his measurements did take
His wife took him home to a bloody fine wake
'Twas about twelve o'clock and the beer it was high
The corpse he sat up and he says with a sigh
I can't get to heaven, they won't let me up
Till I bring them a pint of the Johnny Jump Up
Oh never, oh never, oh never again
If I live to a hundred or a hundred and ten

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
The intrepid adventurers are seen setting off from the Friendly Arm heading to the nearby cave system they had exited from several days prior. The group's spirits seemed high with the large sailor singing a jaunty tune and the group generally jovial. However, it was not long, perhaps less than a candlemark before they were seen returning to the walled confines. The small, lifeless body of the priestess being carried in to the temple. Scraping together what gold the group could manage they were able to pay for the raising of their companion and have her healed up.
Once the priestess had been given time to recover, a much less exuberant group headed back to the caves a bit more cautiously and reserved. Again they were rebuffed, being seen again in little more than a candlemark, the body of the large sailor-bard slung over the shoulder of the even larger warrior. Once again they headed for the temple and after much haggling and selling of the majority of their useful items they were able to have their companion raised. After this the sullen group was seen headed back in to the Inn, probably for a round of strong libations.

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
After spending some time allowing wounds to heal and morale to improve the group is seen meeting in the common room of the Friendly Arm, speaking together in front of the fireplace for a time. Eventually the group exits the inn and heads back toward the nearby cave system.
Some time later, they arrive back outside of Baldur's Gate, seemingly none the worse for wear. After a bit of trading it is a once-more jovial group which heads to the Elfsong Tavern, pouches bulging. The group is seen by those at the Elfsong taking a private table while the large warrior, Torwulf buys a round of drinks and brings them to his companions.
The hin, Dagrin is seen speaking with a barmaid, leaving word for a contact.

Re: Tales of the (currently unnamed) adventurers
Dagrin Nerbrook and his adventurous band were seen speaking by the fire of the Elfsong tavern. Dagrin was lamenting to Torwulf, the large warrior about his belt pouch getting lighter, while his belt was getting tighter. With a hearty laugh Torwulf took the meaning that the hin was ready for another adventure!
After a time the two were joined by Thokul and, lamenting at the absence of Amitiel they left the East Gate and were seen headed south. Traveling along the road with only minimal interference from the highwaymen and a slight detour in to a small bear cave they made good time in arriving at the Friendly Arm Inn. However, wanderlust still having control of them, they did not detour to the inn and instead headed straight in to the cloakwood. They spent quite some time exploring the abandoned mine which was overrun with some kind of man-eating goblins, but were lucky to run in to their stalwart healer, Ami while exploring the mining system.
Upon exiting the mines, they headed south toward the Lion's Way, where they had heard it told travelers are often accosted by Trolls and other Giant kin... Searching the region they eventually found a cave and, sure enough it was filled with Trolls! While clearing out the cave system with torches to finish off the foul beasts the small band ran across a lone wanderer who was also exploring the cave system. Introducing himself as going by the name "Shadow" the man felled a troll with a blast of Acid from his hands. Some kinda spell slinger the group guessed. After a brief discussion the traveler headed off, back toward Candlekeep he claimed, while the intrepid explorers traveled deeper within the cave, eventually facing a huge two-headed troll. They were victorious, but exhausted and headed off to Candlekeep to rest and recuperate. Spirits were high upon their arrival as all members of the group felt they were becoming a better unit. Acting in concert, without needing to think the band managed to travel far and fight more powerful foe's without a single member being knocked unconscious (or worse). Yes things would seem quite well to any who observed the boisterous group of wanderer's. They seemed quite happy and content as they celebrated their victory at the local inn.
