Build Review C/M/SF/H

Unread post by Rinzler »

Aasimar Cleric, Monk, Sacred Fist, Heirophant.

8 Cleric, 6 Monk, 10 SF, 4 H

Is this a good route? If someone has a build sheet similar to this (or has the time to make one quickly) off the nwn2 db it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thank you :)

The classes you list have amazing powerbuild synergy. So your combo would certainly work well as is. However, given the benefits of Hierophant the optimal combos are the following. As I see it, basically, if you want to use Monk Knockdown, a STR-maxed Monk 6 Orc build is best, if EDM, the Monk 3 Aasimar. One reason for maxing Hierophant is the Gift of the Deity feat, which increases many abilities by +2 more than the Owl's etc. route.

Aasimar Cleric, Monk, Sacred Fist, Hierophant... ? I do not think there is a way to get all those classes without being struck by the multiclassing experience penalty. I would just switch the race to Human or Grey Orc.

But anyhow, request is a request, and this is the best I can come up with: http://nwn2db.com/build/?276540 (Multiclassing experience penalty limited between levels 6-23, and caster level of 28, strength based to make most out of the 6 levels of monk.)

You're missing 2 levels. You want C8/M6/SF10/H6. 3 spell powers and practiced caster gives you a final caster level of 29. Works either as strength or WIS based. Personally I like going about 16 STR and mac WIS. Damage is a bit low, but still serviceable. Defenses are through the roof.

I adjusted my previous build, it had one level of Hierophant too much.

Anyhow, I would prefer to roll a wisdom based human 'Monk 3/Cleric 7/Sacred Fist 10/Hierophant 10' simply because it gets caster level of 32 and it can start out with both Able Learner and Spellcasting Prodigy.
