1. No, it's not doable except with Rasael's spell system.

Then I say to Rasael's! muahah, now did I confuse all the PrC out there with just adding Spell Caster Levels to classes that already had normal casting and not actually giving them normal casting?

Even better! So how do this work? Does it simply just allow a PC to understand all spoken languages...or does it actually get one the ability to speak them all through the DMFI? (Which seems like a LOT for them to have for a short while). Mayhaps now I can get my old item lol, I might have to find mdwagner haha

Pretty sure it can be done, I have seen it. But I do not remember which server it was(I think it was the server Toybox played on...after he got banned from here lol, so that is how long ago it was), but I can bet they did it some convoluted way that probably wasn't that efficient. So for now...I will just hope for open source freedom if that ever comes about haha.

I did and yeah!! Though I got a little confused once I got to Soubar. The map pin doesn't say Darkhold, but Sunset Mountains so that threw me off for a while haha.

Welcome back, Larzs! Long time no see. I'm also currently playing through Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition in what remains of my "spare time."

Hope you'll find most of the server's changes pleasing, or at least interesting enough to encourage your exploring.

Good to see Mercius is still running haha, guess you can leave BG for a while, but BG never leaves you.

Yeah, at this point I don't think I can put up another "retirement" thread without it being seen as a big joke. I think I've tried three or four times now to take a break from this place, but the amazing people and community here always manage to somehow pull me back in.

Welcome back, Larzs! Long time no see. I'm also currently playing through Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition in what remains of my "spare time."

I have to say it is very good Beamdog did a great job, I beat it back when it was first released(no trading card or achievements nor was Siege of Dragonspear out) and then I was getting the urge to jump back in so started it up after SoD came out and massive update to include cards and achievements. Now I am on break after lik 90-100 hours before I continue with SoD. And then to BGII:EE haha!

You can't ever leave...well, I couldn't always think of this place from time to time haha. I mean, according to the forums I have been here for 8 years. Damn!! And so that probably means I was playing a good couple of months before I actually joined the forums. Always a good place to come back to haha!
