Expanding the 'profanity' filter
The four letter word of Excrement along with other such words are blocked, which produces some problems. Like the people from Calimshan, Calimsh(aaaaite)te would be blocked. There should probably be some edits made to this filter. Putting more exemptions or making it more sensitive to context.

Agreed. At the moment it's a very silly filter, way too oversensitive.

I think it's actually "Calishite:"

Should be no profanity filters... everyone uses profanity in this age, its simply the way things are done now.

Or you could say...V'rass wrote:Should be no profanity filters... everyone uses profanity in this age, its simply the way things are done now.

You can't censor the great Flasmix. I can say what I want.
Wirg to Pug: "Iz lat dun?"
Pugratix to a snarky militia man: "Mmmm. Not yet. I will live for hundreds of years and be heralded as one of the greatest forces of destruction on the face of the world. The only thing you can destroy is the outhouse."

[ Moderator Edit: These were bad words. Maecius got rid of bad words. ]
j/k, I love you Flasmix...was just testing the profanity filter.
edit: It appears the filter lets some profanity slip through Zanniej...

Re: Expanding the 'profanity' filter
That said i prefer profanity to be used for appropriation situations instead of just every other word like some people do. The purpose of profanity is to represent suprise, alarm, defiance, or anger so one should use it for those only.

Others will abuse it to maintain their limited vocabulary. Even worse when in character.V'rass wrote:That said i prefer profanity to be used for appropriation situations instead of just every other word like some people do.
