No, they're or were stored server-side on nwn2db.
if it was public, had a memorable name, you might be able to pull it out of google search cache. Otherwise you're out of luck.
nah. with the notebook paper i can make it level by level to map out all 30 of them. with this i would need 30 pages for each toon. trees cannot support my lavish amounts of alts...
There are folks within the community looking at ways to keep it going. Nothing concrete just yet. We also have plans for a BG-specific builder that takes our custom content into account, either through a builder of our own devising or through the next iteration of the nwn2db. We shall see. It's still very early on.
But in the meantime, what do people recommend as a viable alternative to planning a Character's build? Is there anything out there that is semi-automatic in calculations?
if you think about it. creating one on our community can only solidify our community if nwn2db was the sole builder. other communities will need to come to our DB to use our builder fit to our server. that can only do one thing. increase the numbers of our community. once here they will see how awesome our community is and stay for good.

Maybe the various communities could shoulder the costs and the owner will simply let us host it. I read on the nwn2db forum that he wasn't getting donations and basically paid for it out of pocket for years.
Konosuba taught me cool wizards don't look at explosions.
that is beyond my scope to know how well differing communities can work together financially to support a shared resource. seems like a big task and ask.
increasing our donations to assist our community would be helpful. i will send in what in can.

That's good news, even if there is nothing concrete yet and there may never be. At least, there is hope.
The worst thing about having to plan your builds on paper is getting the skill points right and figuring out the best order to take your levels so you don't waste skill points needlessly. The feats and classes themselves are pretty easy to set down on paper though.

Laments that all of his current characters builds are private and he never converted them to excel or took screenshots of them like he had planned to...
Even some public pages weren't cached, something I found out yesterday when using various way back archives. It would seem snapshots of NWN2DB were taken once a month, and of course if your build wasn't Public at the very moment, it would not get archived.
Still, it makes one doubly appreciate the achievement and usefulness of NWN2DB, since no one had improved upon it, created an alternative version, all those years....
