I found it odd

the spell Identify is not work rigth when i cast it on a items it work first time but if i cast it on another items i have to cast 2 item on the same items before it work that can be right?

Temporary Workaround - Cast a cantrip between castings as a 'sacrificial' spell. Every time you target an item with a spell, the next spell you cast afterwards will fail. 100% of the time.
