so, i see someone risked 22,500 gold to put a mithral fullplate up at Mudds Auction.
For epic items, the forums aare the only feasable way to sell trade, and "feasable" hardly describes it. After the auction is won, both players have to get together and execute the trade, which sometimes falls through and never happens due to conflicting schedules, etc.
So i propose that if technically possible, put a 5000 commission limit on the auction. That way, a +4 mithral full plate can be posted for its value, without the player having to risk 200,000 gold or having to have a forum auction and the headache that comes with the actual transfer of goods.

I would agree with such a change. Would certainly make for an opportunity to see some better items on the auction house.

Re: KEMO auction commission limit of 5000 gold?
I like this idea. Though, how about making the item stay on the auction proportion to the amount paid for commission?
Let's say: commission paid between 0-1000 gold will have their item posted in auction for 3 days
Then another bracket where if the commission paid is between 1001-2000 gold their item will be posted for 4 days so on and so forth.
I guess the only thing worries me is that the items in auction might change slower, which in that case, maybe increasing the limit of items auctioned per type from 60 to 100 should do the trick? If possible.

I'm not so sure about having things stay longer in the auction -- oftentimes it's already reached it's maximum of 60 items (especially in the armor category. having 20 people post up 3 items is quickly done). I'm all for decreasing the comission though -- the action could seriously use some better items in it.
Yeah no, this place isn't worth it. I gave it one last shot, thanks to Wolfshear, but the Team Good bias is too strong. Enjoy the plot armor, the always winning, and roleplaying in a predictable world where char. development is nonexistant.

Re: KEMO auction commission limit of 5000 gold?
three days would be fine. The problem with the 5,000 max bid is it does not require sellers to consider reasonable prices. with a 3 day limit, they would have to pay 5,000 every three days it doesn't sell, therefore putting more pressure on them to post a reasonable price.adobongmanok wrote:I like this idea.
