Text in Character Description Editor

Unread post by sir_blacksoutalot »

I'm having trouble adding bold text through the character description editor. I've tried using <b>text</b> and text[slash-b] (for that second example, not the word "slash", but the forward slash symbol). Neither of those code strings is working to make the text bold.

I've tried these code strings using the NPC character description editor in the Nexus, and also using the BioEditor accessed from the menu bar that also has the PlayerScry/ToggleHostile buttons. It's not working with either one of these.

Can someone please help straighten me out on how to add bold text to my in-game character description? Thanks.

I believe they should be in caps, so <B>Your bold text here</B>.

But I'm not sure. Give it a try!

Thanks for trying Zanniej, but all-caps isn't working either. Still just normal text, not bold like I'm trying for.

Try making it a black color, I have heard that works as well.

What coding is that? I imagine it works for colors, boldness and italics.

So we can add it to one of the dozens of faqs.
If the text is this color, I am on duty, everything else is just my humble opinion.

Hex color codes should work, or you can use a number of names for colors. The same names as in HTML, but defined in some file in NWN2, so who knows if it's missing one or two. I usually go by this page if I want to find out. Cause opening text files is for leet hackers with fancy applications like notepad and I just don't have the skillpoints for that.
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."
