Hello there!
This is my first time back to the server in give or take 6-7 years. I decided to tackle new character ideas, and get my feet wet whilst understanding the insane amount of custom content that has developed while I was gone . . . which is awesome! With that said, I want make sure I don't completely ruin the build of my first character that is now progressing toward level 6.

Eremon Morant is a Priest of Shaundakul, carrying a greatsword on his back and just fine with donning up to plated armors in his travels (though not always). He came about The Helping Hand through a series of dreams and his own aspirations, leaving a merchant family in Iriaebor to begin his travels and live by what he considers the most important tenants of his faith - Spreading the teachings through example, aiding those in need, and going where the wind takes him. He is also personally interested in seeking the riches of land and sea, and re-sanctifying small shrines to Shaundakul.
I say all of this to give you guys an idea of what I'm after here. In gameplay terms, I want him to be really useful to have along, while also able to explore in smaller parties and handle himself. I don't expect him to be the biggest, baddest priest on the block - I am, however, interested in Heirophant at some point especially for healing. So what are my goals with this character exactly?
1) Exploration - I want him to be able to travel to the 4 corners of the server, and be competent enough to hold his own weight/provide for others in doing so
2) The Helping Hand - I want this guy to act as support first/melee second. I'm also curious as to the extent of divine crafting and whether or not its worth pursuing in order to assist adventurers in that fashion
3) The Riches of the Land - on a side note, with this exploration theme and what I've read about priests of Shaundakul, he needs to be fairly competent in survival and seeking out resources like foodstuffs, healing, etc. I know that's a curve ball . . .

I hope this is enough information to get build ideas started. I wish to thank you in advance for reading this post and getting those creative juices flowing, as I sadly have no idea how to build or what the hell I'm doing in this department.

Cleric 17 / Hierophant 10 / ranger 3 ?
16 or so STR, 14 in INT, rest in WIS.. able learner, extend spell, practiced spellcaster, power attack, improved power attack and you're set.
Max healing skill, spend some in survival and lore nature and it should be close to what you have in mind I'd say.

Could also make him a Favored Soul of Shaundakul...Seems to fit the RP and desire to be able to solo the server.
Standard would be FvS24/Cl3/R3. 21 STR and CHA, 14 or 15 DEX (with +3 or +4 item to wear Mithral Chainmail), dump stat is WIS, though having it at 12 will give you a couple utility spells from Cleric levels 1/2 I guess. You'll have buff spells from FvS, EDM from Cleric, Evasion/Expose Weakness, Tumble and UMD from Rogue. Caster Level is only 28, but if you happen to get a nasty greater dispel or mords you can just go ethereal and rebuff.
