Maximizing AC/Abilities.
I'm curious on how will I know how to maximize my Armor class and stat abilities? I know you can only have a certain amount of AC(natural, deflection, armor, AC dodge?), but is it based on levels as well? How about abilities? Is there a maxed amount? or is that based on your levels? The whole subject confuses me.Help please.

... some armors are changed:
m-chainshirt 4/6 (light armor)
m-brestplate/scale 5/5 (light armor)
m-chainmail 6/4 (light armor)
m-halfplate 8/2 (medium armor)
m bandedmail 7/3 (medium armor)
m-fullplate 8/3 (medium armor)
Sadly there are no heavy mithral armors or equivalents.
Different classes/feats/spells also add to your armor rating.

Re: Maximizing AC/Abilities.
The different armour types are
Base armour (chest piece) AC / shields as posted by Theodore.
Natural Armour - usually amulets
Deflection - usually capes/rings
Dodge - boots
Armour Bonus - chest armour
Shield Bonus - shields
Each of these bonuses uses the highest value that you have. Dodge is the exception which stacks with other sources of dodge. Typically you can find +1/+2 of these items quite commonly. +3 are rarer but some shops do sells them and the auction is a good place to find them as well. +4 are very rare and are the top end of what you can find on the server. This is also true for +ability score items.
You always add your dex modifier to your armour, but the positive is capped by the type of armour you are wearing. Also every 10 unmodified skill ranks in the tumble skill adds +1 dodge AC.
Your base AC is 10 + all of the above.
