The New Expose Weakness

The new feat is still auto-hitting and it doesn't always use the first attack in the round, that is, the one with the highest AB, which is what you want to use EW with.

It definitely isn't auto hitting but it does stick until you land a hit. We have discussion about what to do... work I progress.

I was misunderstanding the combat logs, but Flasmix has explained it to me. Are you sure the feat wasn't better the way it was before? The problem seems exacerbated now.

yes, but before the feat could not be changed in any way. Now we are discussing how we feel it should be balanced and actually have the ability to make changes as necessary to do so. More to come.

I think Vale did a great job, all things considered.

Two things:

1.) I noticed the mode dropped when swapping weapons, randomly, sometimes, sometimes not.
2.) setting the mode will cost an action, and break stealth.

Side note:
Is there any way to set it with the other modes bar, like power attack, or combat expertise?

The mode breaking stealth wouldn't be a problem if it were not randomly deciding to shut off......That is my one gripe about it. It shuts off randomly.

Probably has something to do with some protections put in against exploits, but i know valefort is actively working to continue addressing issues. Unfortunately with only a few testing this before it went live there were bound to be some hiccups which in sure will be addressed. Any reports about specifically when EW shuts off will likely be beneficial.

The mode fixes the bug which has been a point of constant complaint, auto - hit. However, it does bring other balance issues to the table which we are currently discussing, along worth some of the isses being experienced. Keep reporting issues as you see them.

I didn't think about swapping weapons, for now reactivate the mode when you do. That or swap weapons just after a successful expose weakness.

Any chance this can be fixed in the future? I sometimes like to have a fist brawl vs monsters where we comes in handy, but wear I bracers, no gloves.
