Well you could make one but it has to before the first one when about the pirate One Eyed Willie but how he out smart all of Spanish Armada, so all of them that was in the først one could play those that was after one One Eyed Willie

And then he got into this cave, and the British, they blew up the walls all around him, and he got caved in, and he's been there ever since."
PS: The king of spain was the comonarch of england when Willy became a pirate. So it's unclear if he was running from the Spanish or English ... not sure they thought that much into it though. "Willy" isn't exactly a Spanish name ... but all of the maps in the movie were in Spanish? Who knows? Mikey said the British King was after him though. Yet the treasure was Spanish Doubloons.

If that's a seriously meant toon-idea.....I don't think, those who write and make those movies always think that far. Still it was a movie for kids, don't for get.
If i get you right, you want to play a treasure hunting and hoarding pirate? Then i'd advise to also look for other sources. There's more pirate movies, books and games you can get ideas from....and they are more well thought than the Goonies.
Nothing against it, i loved it when i was a kid.
But like mentioned above, you get me?
I would also ask the DMs for advice, as there is one or the other pirate gang also here in BG. They might also be able to tell you, what works lorewise here.
