A player spoke of a sword he could not sell at Mudd's, and gave it for donation. I went to test it out and apparently it is not just him, its the sword. The player thinks he took it from a chest. From the random naming, one would assume so.
I had a DM appraise it, and the value was in the tens of thousands, so its not the value that it is cutting off the sword with. Its something else.
Items with spell resistance can't be sold in the ingame auction because their estimated value is much higher than their real value (and thus might flood the auction needlessly).
I have a similar, but different issue. Once of those belts with DR/something, comes up as having a value of -4999gp so I have a problem selling it at a merchants.
Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about it
