Escape Artist and Bigby's DCs

Can someone point me to what the mechanics/DCs for Escape Artist checks against Bigby's casting DCs are? Are post them here? I'll then copy them to the Wiki, for others to stay informed. Cheers.

Bigby 7-8-9 take the max between your AC and escape artist score for the initial check on those spells.

Okay, do you mean the highest of either AC or Escape Artist score? Or the sum of AC and Escape Artist?

Highest of. If your AC is higher, it takes that check vs grapple DC. If Escape Artist is higher, it uses that.

But it cannot be a full AC check, really? Because who has lower than 33 AC? Even with 30 DEX +10 modifier, who as lower than 43 AC?!?

I could imagine a Base + DEX mod + Tumble mod + Dodge mod + Dodge feat + Mobility feat + Monk AC or Dervish AC (or any types like this) = X for a calculation. But I can't imagine that Armor has any effect on the "squeezing out" from under a Bigbys...can you??

It's full AC, and vanilla.

As for escape artist it's the total score so ranks + DEX mod + bonuses (spell/items), and while they're not common you can buy a bunch of escape artist items at the Avernus shop, going to 60 escape artist is fairly possible.

d20 + Primary Spell Ability Modifier + Caster level + 12 - 1 ~ 52 +d20 for a CL 30 caster with 11 INT/CHA mod

With complete investment in escape artist bigby are unlikely to work on you. That said it's clear that this is a huge investment for not much, the DCs for escape artist should probably be lower.

Yeah, it's interesting. I was working on a build with 33 unused Skill Points, but only 14 DEX, and I considered Escape Artist because I though it would be a cool aspect to the Character, to have thus defense. But the builds AC will be 52, so...I'm finding it doubtful to invest in Escape Artist.

Also bear in mind that it's a useful RP skill, should your character ever find themselves bound up by manacles, ropes, etc. A few cursory ranks in the skill wouldn't hurt for that reason, either.
