Weapon of Impact: Gloves

Hello --

I purchased a Lodestone recently, and it does not apply any effect to my gloves. Does the spell not work on gloves? I was told that Gloves count as a bludgeoning weapon, and the spell is cast with no errors, but again, there is no change to the stat -- the Crit Range remains 20/x2.

I thought that it might be related to the Adamantine material type on the gloves, but I tried the same item/spell on a pair of regular gloves, with the same effect.

Greater Magic Weapon works on gloves, at least when cast by another player. Is that somehow different? I really don't know. I'm wondering if it's the Lodestone, the gloves, the spell -- too many variables for me to be able to parse out on my own.

[Edit: I'll see if I can get a PC to cast Weapon of Impact on me as the spell -- that should help sort some of it out...]

wow. gmw works on gloves? that is crazy. whole new game for my fist fighters.

if weapon of impact works, i hope it gives the hands that glow effect.

In my experience, GMW and Align Weapon work on gloves, also self-cast, but WoI doesn't, which is why those rare Monk rings/belts are in high demand.
