Kraak Helzak Upperdark Transport

The warrior with the different coloured name assigned the upperdark transport has no conversation text. Does not appear to be working.

I have not used him before so I am not certain as to if there is some kind of requirement for using this though.

Aasimir. I was also with a human who seemed to have the same issue.

Is this a race locked transition?

Yes he will only talk to Dwarves or Gnomes sorry.

can we please not have all secrets and discoveries given away with ooc information, especially npc nteraction? I have already figured out there are npcs out there that only talk to their own race. kraak helzack was one i figured must be, because it makes sense.

A message in the conversation would simply be logical, with the dwarf in question stating that they don't guide outsiders down. Or something similarly descriptive as could be gained by talking to the dwarven guide or any of the dozens of dwarves in the tunnels or assigned as hunters.

As to the explanation. Yes. Paying a guide, offering to assist caravans or any number of reasons could allow a determined adventurer to venture down alongside the dwarves. The current ability to access via Zhent lands is rationalised almost in that exact way. Myself and those with me wished to avoid the Zhentarim due to RP reasons but still wished to explore the near surface areas.

I think it makes sense that the KH Guard would explain in a dialogue that only Dwarves, gnomes and earth genasi are allowed to pass. And perhaps, just those that are actual citizens of Kraak Helzak.

The transport is still only allowed for Gnomes and Dwarves only.

To my knowledge, The DM decision has not been given as to whether or not to open this to all races or additional races.

There is also a DM request still pending on whether or not to lock the guild and only be accessible by key once again, which will also limit those being able to use this transport.
