A young woman of raven hair and Blue eyes approaches the Avowed quarters, inquiring into leaving two letters to two individuals. Going through the necessary steps and procedure, the woman, wearing clothes of violet and black, deposits two rolled pieces of parchment intended for two individuals,

Reader Emyrs Kerr and Seeker Thrandlwyn Morticarys

Both are sealed in violet wax; stamped into the wax is what appears to be an Albatross in flight; the stamp must have contained a dust of some sort, as the bird itself shines in glitter when light touches it. A similar shade of violet is the color of a ribbon that also holds the letters in place, the bows neat and orderly.

A sizable force, amassed to assist the Order of the Silver Rose with the recovery of a trapped soul, traveled to an encampment not far from Candlekeep in order to seek counsel from a sage.

Image

Clamdango the Sage gave ominous warnings of what might befall Lady Elvina Aira-S'efarro and others if the planned trek into Avernus happened during this moon.

Image

The threats proved very real when the unprepared group suffered an ambush by denizens of Avernus.

Image

Only a handful of people managed to escape unscathed enough to fall back to the protection of Candlekeep. The rest were treated at the Temple of Oghma and by quick-thinking companions. Guide Alexandra Keenan placed the martial forces of the library fortress on high alert.

Image

Once they had time to recover and properly prepare, the assembled mass left the wards of Candlekeep and entered into battle against pit fiends and a draconic servant of Tiamat.

In the aftermath of the carnage, the victors divided some spoils and made tentative plans for the next chapter in their saga.

A long forgotten face found its way peering up at the entrance of Candlekeep. Silvered armor coated with a sheen of dust, and boots worn from travel the tall auburn haired man raised his hand, in greet and seeking entrance.

The man moved smoothly with his chin held high, but clear grey eyes danced towards the library as he made his way to the inn. A quick exchange of both coin, and words and the travel worn knight was given a key, a small portable writing desk before he made his way up the stairs.

Added: A few hours later, the man appears back into the common room of the Inn with a piece of thick parchment. Folded and sealed with blue wax and the symnol of Mystra pressed into it, the simple instructions to have it delivered to Guide Keenan was asked before he retired upstairs once more.

On the 5th of Nighthal, late into the evening, someone was carried and rushed into the Infirmary. Days later, it has become apparent that Acolyte Maurmeril Jvianin was the target of violence that has left her in recovery. As to what caused said harms to the Acoylte is of whispered rumor to those not in the know.

She has been spied outside of the Infirmary once, walking with a heavy limp, bandages wrapped on her left hand, and more apparent under her clothing. Some claim she nearly collapsed on the way back, but was caught and assisted by a Protector of Auburn hair.

Word spreads from Candlekeep that the infamous hunter became the hunted on this day.

It is said that a visitor to the library fortress contacted a member of the Avowed with a report that the feral, murderous druid and his snarling wolf companion were sighted prowling along the Way of the Lion. The Avowed promptly contacted a research expedition mid-venture, and the armed, warded group teleported back to the area to conduct a thorough search.

Unfortunately, no trace of the man or his beast could be discerned. It was as if he suddenly, randomly disappeared from the area shortly after the group arrived.

Rumor has it in Candlekeep that a Human Sorcerer named Tobar Suresteel has arrived and is staying at Winthorp's Inn. He's interested in meeting with the Guide of Candlekeep or one of her chosen proxies to donate an original work to the library and to discuss the possibility of furthering his studies.

An exotic looking ship departed from the base of the crag upon which the library fort resides.
It sailed fast for the north.

The elven mage Sirion approached the gate of Candlekeep to leave a sealed letter addressed to Seeker Maurmeril Jvianin.

(( PM Sent ))
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."
