Empowered Staff of Magic Missle

Using a Staff of Magic Missle 1 turn after casting an Empowered spell causes the Staff of Magic Missle to become empowered. I am often getting magic missle damage in the range of 6-7 after casting an Empowered spell. This never happened before I had Empower spell.

Another Sorcerer/Arcane Scholar here, and I can verify that casting an empowered spell seemed to empower the magic missile spell cast right after. The same seemed to happen with maximise spell, though it could have been just due to lucky rolls of 4. Thus the metamagic seemed to apply to the next magic missile cast from the staff, after which the spell staff produced regular magic missiles. But that was just about 2 minutes of testing, until I got booted by server reset.

I just had it happen with empowered isaac's -> (regular casting) magic missle

So the staff itself might be a red herring

Many problems are reported when using metamagic. There is a bug somewhere. Will be found and squashed.
